August 16 - 17th 2008 (Sat & Sun), Cardiff Bay
Capital Bocking 2008 is the follow up to the first event held in London in August 2007.
It is the largest meet up for the bocking community ever and year-on-year it is sure to grow into what will probably turn into a bocking festival.
Powerbocking is quite a new and exciting sport and attracts a lot of attention from the public. In it's
infancy, small meet ups would be organised in various towns across the country simply because there were only 1 or 2 bockers found locally.
As time went on, it was decided to have the grandaddy of meet ups in London and so Capital Bocking was born.
Now the sport is so much bigger, a more suitable location was needed and Cardiff Bay was suggested. Cardiff offers a unique environment for bocking no matter if you're
on your first day or been bocking for years - there is a challenge waiting for you in Cardiff.
Also accounting for the sports growth it was decided that one day wasn't enough and so for 2008, Capital Bocking is lasting for the whole weekend.
