On the day...
Meeting up from 10am onwards.
The whole day will be spent with a friendly meet and greet.
The bock-zone is known locally as the oval basin which is
a large open area built in a dis-used dock (the sea might even be still below).
Around the basin is some large concrete steps and some normal sized flights of steps. Because the whole area is on a very slight decline, both kind of steps start with almost nothing
and extend down to some seriously challenging steps.

There is also a hand rail that goes all the way around the basin which offers some very good and varied vaulting challenges.
The Cardiff Bay Barrage is very close by and Cardiff Council have just opened a footpath from the Bay right across the barrage. We can arrange a series of walks across the barrage (stilts entirely optional) for those who want to.
Evening entertainment
In the evening, we can dine at the world famous Harry Ramsdens Fish & Chips restaurant which is within 3 mins walk.
There are varied restaurants and clubs within falling over distance of the basin. Everything from a pizza express, pubs, american diner etc.
There is a pizza hut within about 5 mins walk but no mcdonalds or burger king within walking distance.
